The Center for Black Women’s Wellness, Inc. provides free and low-cost services to empower black women and their families toward physical, mental and economic wellness. Comprehensive services provided include:  

  • Preventive health services
  • Maternal and child health services
  • Mental health screening and referrals
  • Self-employment training

A Free Health Clinic is held for uninsured women and men ages 18 & older every 2nd and 4th Thursday 5-8 PM and Saturdays 10 AM-2 PM. Call 404 688-9202 for an appointment (required). Their website is www.cbww.org.

 

Odyssey Family Counseling Center provides mental health and substance abuse counseling services that are accessible to all socioeconomic groups. Odyssey is recognized for its expertise in the areas of adolescent and adult substance abuse, sexual abuse, delinquency, child abuse, school behavior problems, domestic violence, remarriage and blended families. Services are available throughout metro Atlanta.  The following groups are offered:

  • Anger management
  • Parenting
  • Grief Groups
